My Princess turned 4!

Lillie Beth turned 4 in November! She had a wonderful princess party (if you can't tell)! There were NO BOYS! The girls got their hair and makeup done! They sang, danced and had a blast. I love my little girl. She is so helpful and is just too smart! She is in Pre-K this year and her teacher says she is right there with the other kids. Which is great! She is also in Ballet and gymnastics. Last week I helped host a baby shower for a friend and you would have thought Lillie Beth was the host. She was taking gifts, putting chairs out, handing out punch, and if you asked her to do something she would go and do it. She is really helpful and so much fun to have around.

New Year

I promised a new blog in the new year! So here is a start to it. We are really busy around here. The kids are growing like weeds! Jackson is talking up a storm! He loves to call people! Lillie Beth is just getting to big! She is so helpful and sweet. Gary is just going crazy. I am still trying to figure out how to juggling working, taking care of the kids and managing the house. I am working on a slide show to put up in the next few days!

New Years New Blog!!

Okay, I am horrible at this blog thing. I keep saying I am going to get better but I haven't. The point of me blogging was for it to be more like a journal of everything that is going on with the family and things that I am processing or thinking about, but I have been too busy or not comfortable writing what I am really feeling or thinking at the time. Anyway look for a new blog in the new year....................................

Im Back!

So I am back! Did anyone miss me? Or did anyone even notice that I have not posted in 3 months?? Where do I even start? Umm, we survived the IKE - lost a couple of trees and it put some holes in the garage but no big deal. Gary is now over booked and is working 6-7 days a week. At least he is in town! I made it up and back down the mountain in Colorado. That was the best experience and wish I was up there right now. Would have pictures but I uploaded them to our laptop which has crashed! Just a little mad! The kids are great. Lillie Beth will be 4 next month. Soooo hard to believe my baby is growing up. She is in ballet and gymnastics. The only reason she is in both is b/c it was easier to put her in so Jackson and I could do a mommy and me gym class. Which he loves!! She seems to be enjoying both. Jackson is 19 months - the terrible twos have come early with him. But he is getting so big and wants to do everything his sister is doing. Lillie Beth is in PreK this year, she is loving being in the big kid class! Jackson is also going to mothers day out and loves it! Well that is a run down and a very quick update. I try to post more often, but will not promise. I am not even sure anyone even reads this. I almost forgot, I am officially a Realtor!! That is right. I am working for Gary Greene Prudential and am loving it.

More of Lake LBJ

Well I have been meaning to do this post for a while. We found the coolest waterpark at Lake LBJ. It had all those cool blow things that you always see but never get to play on. There was also a waterslide that you tubed down. The kids were able to carry their own tubes up and ride down. They loved it. Everyone is required to wear a lifejacket if you were in the water. I am not sure who and more fun, the kids or the adults. Oh at this place they also have cabins you rent. Really cool place! The trampoline had a katapoult next to it. I have to say my niece Davie Joy was sent flying by Gary. When I say flying I mean flying. She did a belly flop and cried a little but not as much as I thought she would! I am soooo proud of her. Next time she knows to reach for the sky not the water! I wish I could have gotten it on camera!

Lillie Beth sliding! She loved it. The new pool in The Woodlands has a slide just like this but you have to be 48 inches to ride! She is really mad that she cannot ride it!

Look at my monkey!! She climded up this and slid down like 5 times!!! It took a lot of arm muscles b/c my niece was unable to make it to the top!

Hope everyone had a happy 4th! We started the day by going to a parade. It was sooo hot and thought it was going to ruin our party, but it rained mid day and cooled way off. We had about 20-25 people over, the kids played in the pools and the adults just hung out. We then drove over and watched the fireworks! For those of you that watch The Woodlands fireworks, Lamar Elementary is the best place to sit for them! The kids ran around and played on the playground - unlike last year we had to keep them confine them to the vehicles (bowling alley parking lot). Overall, itt was a great 4th!

We are really enjoying the boat and going out on the water. If ever you want to go - just call!!! We have alot going on in the next couple of weeks. Gary and I are taking a trip to Vegas with my sister and brother in law. We get home and then leave for Colorado for till the 6th or 7th of August. Gary will be keeping the kids in Crested Butte while I go on trek with our church youth group! Keep me in your prayers, I did this in High School but that was over 10 yrs ago!! Oh and Gary too, it will be the first time he has kept both the kids for a week. He will be in the same town as his parents so there will be help. I will try to post while in Colorado. But if you don't hear from me it is because I am having way too much fun. I am so blessed to be able to go up there.

We have a WALKER!

Well Jackson has kind of been walking for like a month but now he is officially walking! He will go from room to room and just about anywhere walking. Before he would just prefer to crawl.

Lake Babies!!

We rented a lake house at LBJ and had a great time. My sister Shawn and her family came with us. Jackson had a blast on the boat and enjoyed riding in the tube! We were gone for 5 days. Lillie Beth loved climbing on the back of the boat and jumping in! As soon as we would get on the water she would say I'm ready to JUMP!!! She is definetly my daughter, She loves the water! Did I tell you we got a Pontoon boat? Its the best! Great to play on and can tube behind it! Very kid friendly. I will post more picture later!
